Look around you... You will see a lot of people who want to be comfortable. You will see a lot of people who want to be right. But do you see a lot of people want to be godly?
God’s purpose in the gospel is to create for himself a God-loving and God-like people (that’s what godliness means). That was the point of the Gospel. When God saved us, He saved us for himself.
