This Sunday we continue our "Moving the Needle" series in which we have been looking at ways to get ourselves unstuck spiritually and get us moving once again in the rhythms of discipleship, apprenticing under Jesus in His Way.
Dallas Willard writes, “Being hurried is an inner condition, a condition of the soul. It means to be so preoccupied with myself and my life that I am unable to be fully present with God, with myself and with other people… I cannot rest in God with a hurried soul.”
This week we are going to touch on silence and solitude and how this practice helped Jesus live a productive yet unhurried life.
