What I do want to illustrate, however, is that Jesus was not driven or motivated by fear. Fear wasn’t a consideration in Jesus’ life. Jesus instead is driven by confidence, compassion and love.
Because Jesus wasn’t driven by fear, He had the capacity to radically love the people He came in contact with. Perfect love casts out fear.
