Is Jesus Practical

Define practical:  It is relative to our own agenda .  Sometimes when we determine something is not practical, we really mean it doesn't suit my own preferences, for comfort and what we feel we need for ourselves, children or whatever lifestyle we need/want

Andy Stanley says, “Following Jesus has made my life better.... and made me better at life... a better husband , parent etc...”   So, in that sense, Jesus' teaching are very practical.  I suspect however, that Andy would also say, that it was in the context of surrendering his will, dreams and agenda to Jesus' kingdom priorities...
