Over the last few weeks we’ve looked at a Jesus who is Generous, Personal and Playful. This week we’re going to turn our attention to a Jesus who is calculated and strategic.
When you think of someone being “generous, personal, & playful” you don’t often think of that same person as being “strategic” or “driven.”
It’s incredibly rare for someone to be structured and intentional, yet fiercely relational. It’s the well-known balance between being task-oriented and people-oriented.
Jesus was both. He was task-oriented and strategic, but everything He did was relationally driven. Somehow, Jesus was able to love people well and accomplish everything that He set Himself to do over the short 3 years of His public ministry.
