Have you ever processed the thought that God created humour? He created laughter and fun and enjoyment? God is the god of delight, He loves to play with us and wants us to enjoy Him!
Over the course of this series, we are attempting to unmask the character of Jesus:
- Jesus’ character has been veiled by religion and by the Enemy.
- His character has been twisted so that we don’t want to know Him.
- Not knowing His character causes us to not trust Him like we should.
A.W. Tozer, “What comes to mind when we think about God is the most important thing about us. Low views of God destroy the Gospel for all who hold them.”
When we see the unfiltered character of Jesus, as He reveals it to us in Scripture and by the Spirit, things change in our relationship with Him. He becomes more intriguing and interesting and trustworthy. He becomes easier to follow.
