Series:

God has given us two beautiful gifts:  The gift of work and the gift of rest.

Both gifts wage war against each other:

  • The extreme of work tends towards overwork and obsession with productivity.
  • The extreme of rest tends towards laziness and slothfulness.

Therefore, as in many things in life, a balance is required.  This balance was programmed into Creation, by God, for our benefit.
